My name is Shelby Fishman and I am a multimedia journalist with experience in producing, video, editing and writing. I received a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Southern Methodist University in Dallas and a master’s degree in journalism and public affairs from American University in Washington, D.C.

I have gained experience in professional settings, various internships and through student media. I am currently the deputy editor of MarketWatch Commerce at Dow Jones.

For over four years, I have contributed to Dow Jones’s partnered content and commerce verticals where I meticulously edit stories for web publication, monitor site traffic using analytical tools such as Parsley, promote content on various channels including Apple News and write personal finance articles for MarketWatch Picks.
